Taylor Hattersley, LCSW
Therapist
Within each of us, there is a pure, uninhibited consciousness yearning to express itself fully as the peaceful, whole, meaningful, happy you. But sometimes, our circumstances cause the waters to muddy and our minds to clutter with thoughts that are not helpful to our wellness or expressing our highest selves. But you, as an individual, have the power to reclaim your life. Let’s work together to create the life you want. And what an honor it is to walk beside you on this journey!
I graduated from Sacramento State with my Master of Social Work with a specialization in Behavioral Health after graduating from UC Berkeley with my Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology. During my 6+ years working in mental health, I worked in local acute psychiatric inpatient settings where I have supported numerous adults and adolescents living with co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders. In addition, I served as the first Substance Use Navigator (SUN) in a local emergency department and received training in substance use disorders from CA Bridge. It was an honor to help support individuals coping with acute withdrawal and detox in these settings. Now, I’m thrilled to take the next step and utilize this experience with you at SagePoint IOP!
